Amy and David were married the weekend of a cold front here in Flagstaff on Sunday October 4. The previous and following weekend were 65 and sunny, but on this day, it rained.  It didn't seem like it would rain all day and they were both determined to make their outdoor event happen. The saying goes, "if you don't like the weather in Flagstaff, wait 15 minutes."  So we did.  It stopped raining and was a glorious backdrop to boot!  Amy and David chose a spot off Forest Road 794, not too far where I, myself, got married. Nestled in the golden Aspens they exchanged their vows with the wind blowing something fierce and the leaves rustling. A true Flagstaff wedding! Everyone huddled in real close to make it a very intimate event.  Amy and David couldn't be a happier couple if they tried and if you can't tell from the photos, David is a fun Dad and a fun groom-- he's a HAM, people.  We were only hired to shoot the ceremony, portraits and a little bit of the reception, as they weren't having a big traditional party.  Kudos once again to Kim Duncan of Kd event Designs -- Kim made little ole' Brix look all dressed up for their dinner reception.  She designed the table decor and brought all her creativity to the event. Sidenote, David's children all attend my husband, Matt's school, Flagstaff Junior Academy and they are wonderful students and great kids, as I think you can see from the photos as well.  It was lovely day and my congrats to Amy and David.  Thanks to Jamelle for second shooting with the big ole' pregnant lady!  View their slideshow here~Cameron~

Absolutely Beautiful! The Scenery, the Bride, (David is VERY Handsome) the ceremony. And so many people! Wish we could have been there; we are so proud to be your aunt and uncle as well as friends. My favorite pic is in the meadow with the mountains in the distance with the two of you. Happy Life Together!
