Monique and Rick came all the way from Oregon to elope in sunny Sedona on May 23.  May is a pretty good bet, in terms of weather... but this year was an unpredictable year and it was colder than they had hoped. This didn't stop Monique and Rick from laughing and having an amazing ceremony at Red Rock Crossing.  They incorporated some Native American traditions to their ceremony and it was truly awesome. At one point the sky opened up and Monique peaked back at the view and Jamelle captured an amazing smile on her face-- one of my favorite shots! My friend, John Burcham, saw me editing these shots and claimed they had a "million dollar sky" and he was right. The overcast weather allowed us to get some really fun images in Red Rock State Park with Cathedral rock in the background.  We loved the bouquet by Amy Mills at Bliss Extraordinary floral.
