The Altavilla's won a lifestyle/family session on A Mountain Bride's blog!  I had a lot of fun with this family and their son is exactly the same age as my boy Owen so I was able to pull out all the tricks for a two year old. This was a reminder of how hard it is to photograph this age (even for a professional).

Logan and Alicia were married a few weeks ago down in Mesa, Arizona at the LDS temple.  The grounds there are beautiful and the temperatures are HOT, unlike the still freezing Northern Arizona that we have been experiencing.  Here's a few images from their day.  ~jamelle

My friends Kristina and Bryce had a little baby boy and named him West Colter. We had a lot of fun photographing baby West. We offer our congratulations to the family, whom I'm sure is anxious to see these photos! He eventually fell asleep on this cute little blanket in perfect light... go figure!  ~Cameron~

Ashley will be a senior at Flagstaff High School next year and has been helping us with some marketing projects; however, it took us three tries to get good weather for this shoot.  We had wind, hail, snow and rain, but finally managed a few good shots. View her slideshow here. ~jamelle

Everything about Vickie sparkles...she is a positive, energetic woman. To see her shine even brighter, just put Jayson in the same room with her!  Jayson and Vickie were one of the most loving couples I've photographed. All I did was set this couple up in good light and the rest is history. This was another example of a 3 hour coverage.  We managed some great portraits at the end of this gorgeous Sedona day.  *note this couple chose to get married at noon and normally we don't recommend that time for ceremonies because of the harsh lighting on cloudless Sedona days. As you can see, we still got some great images.  We were able to arrange the schedule that day to accommodate the sunset times (with a little creativity we were able to meet back up with them later in the day).  If your wedding is within 6-8 weeks, call us! We have some unexpected availability. Click here to view their slideshow

I like the photos that show interaction with the members of the wedding party. Vickie and her dad making the journey to the alter together was one of my favorites and the one where Carson and Cordell give their aunt Vickie a big kiss. Both black and white and color pictures captured the beauty of the moment. I thought the pictures that faded from color to B&W were very well chosen and the change executed perfectly. The shots that were portions of a dress, a dress bow being tied, the tulip bouquet in the hands of the bride, and the opening picture of Jayson and Vickie were really novel and very well done. The photographers are expert in catching joy and character in the faces of the children.
