My photography career started as an undergraduate at NAU, right here in Flagstaff. I graduated with a very “un-specialized” degree in Communication and a minor in business and marketing; however, I was fortunate enough to include photography classes and had use of the good old-fashioned darkroom. I remember thinking how I would really love to run a photo studio, but at the time had no idea how that could happen. We moved around working some great jobs and all the while slowly began building my own photography business part-time since 2002. After, we moved back to our roots in Flagstaff, I quickly began working with Cameron in 2007 and became a partner at cameron + kelly studios in 2008. I am second photographer for all c+k weddings and head up the portrait and printing department. I am currently “this close” to finishing my Masters degree in Photography; however, kids and life are keeping this goal very challenging. My husband, Jeff, grew up in Flagstaff and we enjoy the outdoor activities of Northern Arizona and the occasional visits to warmer weather in Phoenix. We have two children, Naomi and Blair, who we recently found out are seventh generation Northern Arizona natives. I love my work as a photographer and the constant challenge of learning and growing with the technology and also continually finding my inspiration. The goal is to work hard and play hard!
