Flagstaff Wedding + Portrait Photography
Sedona and Flagstaff photographers, Cameron Clark + Jamelle Kelly specialize in weddings and portraits in northern Arizona. We will capture your family's personality and our photographs will become part of your family history. We update this blog-site with photos and info about us, so check back often or better yet add us to your RSS feed. If you are in Flagstaff, please stop by our downtown studio on Heritage Square to view our work. We are available most mornings M-F and by appointment.

We are a boutique photography studio and this is our only website. It's a website and a blog. A blog is a journal that allows readers to subscribe (click RSS) and "follow" news events. Josie is one of those mother's whom I admire and love. She is an AMAZING woman to raise such a great family FULL of boys!  It took both Cameron and I to photograph this portrait session.  We had to do a lot of what Cameron calls "baby wrangling" which is where one person hoots and hollers and the other person shoots.  We take turns and It would make a funny video. Photographing four boys is hard so I can't imagine parenting them on a daily basis.  They were  taking off running, climbing, picking flowers and jumping off stools. Josie brought food and props for a picnic and it kept the boys engaged and in close together. It ended up being a great little party. Josie also did a fantastic job of coordinating everyone's outfits... HOW cute are they?  We love Flagstaff family portraits! ~jamelle~

Jim & Anne celebrated their fiftieth wedding anniversary on June 20, 2009. Fifty years! I hope you are applauding out there. There are many events that one is congratulated for in life: graduating from high school and college, getting married, having a baby, etc.  To me, all these events pale in comparison to being married for fifty years. Marriage is a partnership for a lifetime and it warms my heart to think of these couples who have reached their golden anniversary. Their kids hired us to shoot some candid moments for a couple of hours during their party and we talked them into some informal portraits as well :) As wedding photographers, we usually see the couples at the beginning of their journey: very young and full of hope and it was so touching to spend the afternoon with this mature family and see the love and hope still present. We asked Anne what her advise would be about staying married for fifty years and she said "negotiation." Her best friend was close by and added, "compromise."  I hope all you young engaged couples out there are reading this and take their advise to heart.  A very warm congratulations from both Jamelle (married 10 years Dec. 17) and myself (3 years June 17).  view their slideshow here ~Cameron~

Elizabeth won a portrait session with us and she and her son were our adorable subjects.  I loved their outfits.  Elizabeth did a great job I had a hard time choosing my blog favorites and a hard time editing this session.  Isaac is VERY into Star Wars and you may see him in a couple of photos making Jedi moves.

What a treasure. When my son was that age he was also into Star Wars (still is). I wish I had a picture of Matt and me when he was Isaac's age.

I've known Tamara and Derrick since I moved to Flagstaff in 2003.  Derrick was my manager at the coffee shop (oh I miss the barista days) but he always felt more like a friend and of course back then when Tamara and Derrick were dating, she would come in for a latte often.  I shot their wedding in Costa Rica in 2006 and have been shooting Kiley ever since she was born last year.  Kiley is only 6 weeks younger than Owen.  Here is a cute little Flagstaff family portrait session! ~Cameron~

It seems between Matt and I we know Teresa, Dave, Jenna and Clayton pretty well.  I worked for Dave when we first moved to Flagstaff at one of his famous coffee shops (If you have never had Late for the Train Coffee, it's worth a trip to Flagstaff or you can order some online).  Jenna, Dave's daughter, was one of Matt's middle school students at the time (and he also taught Clay) she has now become Owen's prized babysitter. Teresa went on a field trip with Matt to D.C and I know her professionally. They attended our wedding, we've been to the same Christmas parties, YOU get the idea.  Anyway, Jenna, being the brilliant mind that she is, decided to give her Mom the gift of a portrait session for Mother's Day.  WE LOVE GIFT SESSIONS!!  I thought we were going to have to travel in a time machine to get all these schedules to align between Jenna graduating High School and Clayton going on a river trip and then to Panama (lucky man)!  Anyway, we pulled it together and made it work.  One of my favorite places to shoot a family is on their front stoop, and this is because you might not always live in your current house so at least in your family photograph you can remember it forever.  We chose to shoot on the Dobrick-Bertsch property here in Flagstaff and it was a perfect location.  ~Cameron~

The Dobrick-Bertsch certainly possesses some great genes. Especially the young Miss Jenna, absolutely ravishing!
