cameron + kelly studios is a boutique photography studio and this is our only website. It's a website and a blog. A blog is a journal that allows readers to subscribe and "follow" news events. Please view our current portfolios under the link above or search "view by" to see recent photos by category.  You can also search this site using the search box above this text.

Cameron Clark + Jamelle Kelly specialize in weddings and portraits in Sedona, Flagstaff and Scottsdale. We will capture your family's personality and our photographs will become part of your family history. We update this blog-site with photos and info about us, so check back often or better yet add us to your RSS feed. If you are in Flagstaff, please stop by our downtown studio on Heritage Square to view our work. We are available most mornings M-F and by appointment.

Blythe and Laura were married in Flagstaff on August 15, 2009 and it was a gorgeous day at Forest Highlands Golf Club. Laura's parents did an awful lot of planning and legwork for her, which was so sweet and of course it was easier for them since they still live here in Flagstaff. They were my initial contact and I met with them in the studio without Laura who is busy working her tail off getting another degree!  Her Dad has a red Oldsmobile 442 (muscle car) and we utilized the heck out of it as a prop (you can too, as Jon is willing to do some chauffeuring for brides in the N. Arizona area, contact me for details).  Laura was in town a week before the wedding and I don't know that I've ever had a meeting with a bride who was MORE enthusiastic about my work than Laura.  In fact, I might not have ever had a bride as enthusiastic about life than Laura.  It shows in the photos.  She and Blythe are a very sweet couple, which I hope comes through in the photos.  Working with cars as props in gorgeous light is every photographer's dream so that was really fun for Jamelle and I.  Click this link to view the slideshow.

Laura Franklin says:

These photos are just perfect. . .they captured the energy and fun that I felt throughout the entire ceremony and reception. Cameron and Jamelle are phenomenal, and I could not have ever imagined photos as beautiful as these!

Stephanie Lilly says:

Wow! Gorgeous photos! Makes me want to go home and look through my album AGAIN (which is still the most amazing thing me or any of my friends or family have seen, by the way!). Thanks for making such beautiful reminders for so many of us to look back on our special days!

Wendy White says:

Cameron, each time I look through your wedding photos I am reminded of what a horrible photographer I had for my wedding. But then I think "how lucky these couples are that they hired Cameron to help capture the special moments of their bigl day." And that makes me smile - you capture the humor, the anxiety and the just amazing fun spirit of a wedding day in such detail.

Sarah Clark says:

Cameron, this is wonderful! The bride is so beautiful and the groom handsome! I love the details - you captured everything perfectly! I know they are thrilled with your work.

Phyllis Higdon says:

So, so pretty! You captured the happiness and fun that the bride, groom and their families and friends were having. What a beautiful way for the bride and groom to remember their special day!

This was a lovely 3-hour event booked a few weeks in advance. If you are planning a small event that is in Northern Arizona and under 25 people that is less than 8 weeks away, you may qualify for our intimate pricing. Please contact the studio for more information.

This was a intimate family wedding in Forest Highlands. Sedona Cake Couture did their cake and I think the groom's mom pretty much took care of the rest! She was fabulous!

So if you (or your parents) happen to have a gorgeous second home in Forest Highlands... why not get married there? Great idea! Most people underestimate the simplicity of a small ceremony, AKA just family. This is a great way to split up the events so you do not have to feed 100+ guests. If you have the ceremony on a Thursday or even weeks before your reception, you can relax and just "throw a party." This is a bit less traditional, but as you might know my advice is about weddings is to DO WHAT YOU WANT! It's your day. If a big ceremony with everyone watching makes you nervous.... don't do it! Plus you usually get to have two outfits (and two pairs of shoes... am I appealing to you ladies yet)?

Jo and Austin made it simple and it was great. There were 3 babies in the family under three, two of them were 5 & 6 months respectively so it made sense to have a nice small family style event. I was only there for three hours, but we got some great shots anyway. Here are two quick ones

Talk about being behind on the blog... well I don't want to rush the editing, but hopefully I'll be back on a weekly track in the next two weeks. Kristine and Dustin, got married at Nativity Church in downtown Flagstaff on August 18, 2007 with their reception at Forest Highland Golf Club. These two families were so much fun all day. Kristine was beautiful and Dustin was handsome. I loved the color choice of the orange bridesmaid dresses with pink sashes and pink shoes. Showstoppers did the flowers, and take a look at that cool ring bearer "treasure box" as they called it. Most creative thing I've seen a ring bearer carry thus far. click here to view slideshow.

July usually brings rain showers in the afternoon, but mother nature knew better than to mess with 7-14-07! I enjoyed seeing these families mingle-- for one thing, I haven't had a full Jewish wedding complete with a Ketubah signing before, so that was pretty unique and not to mention how BEAUTIFUL the Ketubah turned out. I also love the Jewish tradition of allowing the parents stand up close with the bride and groom as their ceremony unfolds. The toasts that were given at this wedding had me wiping tears away -- everyone from the fathers' to the bride herself we so eloquent and well spoken. It was a joyous occasion and I wish Jaime and Ryan the best of luck. View Slideshow here.

Tis the season to be back-blogging. Cheryl and Chris were married June 2, 2007! This wedding was awesome #1) because it a local Flagstaff affair (you know I love a wedding in my backyard) #2) because Chris and Cheryl laid in a bed of roses for me and #3) Showstoppers outdid themselves. I mean haven't I mentioned that I love peonies and did you see that arch---breathtaking! view slideshow here.back-posting - Cheryl & Chris
