Bunny Sessions
cameron + kelly studios is a boutique photography studio and this is our only website. It's a website and a blog. A blog is a journal that allows readers to subscribe and "follow" news events. Please view our current portfolios under the link above or search "view by" to see recent photos by category.  You can also search this site using the search box above this text.

Cameron Clark + Jamelle Kelly specialize in weddings and portraits in Sedona, Flagstaff and Scottsdale. We will capture your family's personality and our photographs will become part of your family history. We update this blog-site with photos and info about us, so check back often or better yet add us to your RSS feed. If you are in Flagstaff, please stop by our downtown studio on Heritage Square to view our work. We are available most mornings M-F and by appointment.

Charlotte called me a little bit frazzled.  Her Mother is in the beginning stages of her chemotherapy treatment-- that would make anyone anxious. At the last minute (and due to a neighborly act of kindness) her sister, who lives back East, was able to fly into Flagstaff so she and all her four sisters could be together with their Mother.  Charlotte wanted a group photo of all the ladies! We were TOTALLY booked the week her sister was in town but Jamelle and I really wanted to fit them into our schedule so we moved some appointments and shot these LOVELY ladies (Jamelle was sick with pneumonia the day of the shoot).  The idea was to get some fall color, but around here it's pretty hit or miss, so instead I found something very 'Flagstaff' -- tall  grasses! Thanks to Quinn, our c+k intern for being my lighting assistant. ~Cameron~

Kelly is one of those great Mom's who gets the family together for a portrait often.  This was definitely a more "traditional" style portrait for us but we hope this family will hire us again to photograph a candid kids session, so we can capture the essence of her kid's personality... for now, we enjoyed being on their gorgeous property and photographing the family in several set-ups, including a little mountain goat hike up the side of a their hill.  It's typically next to impossible to get the family dog to corporate, but this Bernice Mountain dog was all about having his photograph taken! ~Cameron~

Wonderful ... my favorite is the one of the three children looking (and laughing) at each other ... and, of course, the sweet family dog!

Gabriel had a style, which was fun and made the post-production of these photos really creative. We have plenty of the "mom" photos in the final edit, but these are the ones that I liked best.  Gabriel has an interest in becoming a photographer or designer so that pushed me to make the images really cool. I think he looks like a rock star!  It was my last Flagstaff High School Senior photo shoot! ~Cameron~

Jamelle shot Mandy + Matt's wedding back in April, and they scheduled a day-after session with me. It took me a little longer than a few days after the wedding to shoot this session as we were booked and it just got too hot in Scottsdale to work down there (especially for this Flagstaff girl), so we shot in September and Mandy + Matt dressed back up in their wedding outfits and off we went shooting all around the lovely Monte Lucia property.  Special thanks and hugs to my good friend, Stuart Thurlkill of Eyes 2 See Photo who second shot this portrait session with me.  If I'm going to be in Phoenix, I'll call up a photo friend and we'll shoot together-- it's always more fun to team shoot a portrait session, at least for me and if you know Stuart, you know he's not short on FUN! As photographers, it's really inspiring to work with another great photographer to remind yourself that you are always a student of this amazing craft and of course I wanted to visit with my good buddy Stuart and what better way than to take some amazing photos of Mandy + Matt. Kudos to Stuart who had some AMAZING shots, he found himself EXTRA creative as the second shooter, I think! ~Cameron~

We don't specialize in studio portraits, but occasionally either the weather or the client's request make the portrait session more suitable in the studio.  We did a bit of a boudoir session for Taryn's 50th birthday! There were four ladies in the studio when we shot this and we all had a blast.  Taryn is co-owner of Cuvee 928, so make sure to tell her how amazing she looks next time you see her!   ~Cameron~
