Ah.... L'Auberge de Sedona... such a lovely place and a perfect August
day for Sheri and Billy. I loved how the bridesmaids had different
shades of pink/red to match the flowers. It shows the unique
personality of each woman. This couple was high school sweethearts and
have known one another for 17 years (dating on and off). Billy's mom
and Dad were holding back the tears at the ceremony, Matt always gets
these great hand details and close up portraits and we used a little FlashFlavor during the reception. Check out the action shot at the candy bar... (ah a candy bar, a bride after my own heart). Once again, Showstoppers outdid themselves... check out those lilies. Laura Lane did a fantastic job coordinating the event as well as being their minister. View the slideshow here

Family and friends flew into Arizona for Elissa & Matt's
destination wedding at L'Auberge de Sedona On May 7, 2008. Their
wedding included an elegant hillside ceremony followed by a creekside
reception. Practically all Elissa's friends at the wedding had known
her for 20+ years. As someone said during the toasting, this reveals
loyalty and lifelong friendships that are rare in our lives today. As a
jellybean fanatic, I loved the little jars of jellybeans that they used
for table seating. Everyone ate outside enveloped by the warm summer
air of Sedona.

"I'm getting married, and I'm going to be the flower girl and I love
Stephen and I'm getting married with Joey and Stephen and I'm going to
throw all the petals..." Hope was filled with contagious enthuasium the
moments before her Aunt Joey's wedding. These are the days that I love
my job as I did on October 13, 2007. From the moment I met the
creative, beautiful and gracious Joanna, I knew I HAD to shoot this
wedding. Joey, as she prefers to be called, pulled off a themed event,
which is never easy to do, especially without a coordinator. Her event
boasted a vintage travel theme, the place "cards" where handmade paper
airplanes, the gift table held an "antiqued" trunk, the tables were
named after famous vintage hotels of the world, complete with their
insignias and a mini paper trunk of your own sitting atop vintage
stamps from around the world. Slideshow!

Thais and Trever light up when they see one another. Thais put so much
heart and soul into this wedding with all her lovely details and
incorporated a sense of her Greek heritage into the event...check out
that ring. It was an intimate wedding in the Tlaquepaque chapel with a
gorgeous reception in the adjacent courtyard on August 11, 2007.
