Patti + Squeak {Lake Powell Wedding}
While editing these photos I couldn't stop smiling.  From start to finish both Patti and Squeak  laughed and smiled and laughed and smiled (family name, EVERYONE calls him Squeak). Shred: To do something harder, faster and without fear. These guys are from Wyoming and I get the feeling they shred. Patti and Squeak are the type of people that you just want to be friends with because they are "energy suppliers." I think the photos speak for themselves.  A huge high five to Patti and Squeak, if these photos don't say "we had the time of our lives" I don't know what does... ~cameron

Monica + Corey {true love at Flagstaff's Snowbowl}
This was not a wedding about colors, linens, stationary, details and signature drinks... it was about two people sharing their lives together. Corey actually saw Monica for the first time while riding his bicycle past her in downtown Flagstaff. He thought she was the most beautiful girl he had ever seen.  If that doesn't melt your heart, hopefully the look in their eyes will... yep, that's true love folks.  This is a PRIME example of how bright it can be with a ceremony in the middle of the day but how GREAT your portraits can be if you listen to your photographer recommend a little sunset session in great light... They also hired a classic Oldsmobile and driver to drive Monica and her Dad up to Snowbowl (see more shots of it here). Sutcliffe Floral did their lovely flowers.  This wedding was Sunday June 20th--the start of the Schultz fire and you will notice a big smoke plume in the background a peaks photo.  Random comment: there is something I just loved about that black and white photo of Corey buttoning his cuff talking to his brother before the ceremony... just a neat little moment captured by Jamelle.  Also note, Harley, Corey's old dog... such a sweetie!  Congrats to you both.  Click here to view the slideshow! ~Cameron~

I knew y 'all were shooting this wedding the day the Shultz Pass fire started ... I was concerned. No worries ... this is beautiful! There is nothing more wonderful than a Flagstaff wedding ... the aspens, loving couple ...it reminded me of you, Cam, and Matt. The cape, flowers, cake ... love it!!

What an incredible job the two photographers did in capturing the "glow" of the people and of the location..the outdoors they love so much .. Kudos to them!
As for Monica............the girl from Ipanema indeed! That day she "was like a Samba" and her guy, Corey, and all present were saying "a..a..ah!" They are a Samba in motion everyday, but on that enchanted day in June, the whole world got to feel the music! We love you both, Lois & Dad

Sarah + Chad {San Diego Engagement Session}
We are pretty excited about Sarah and Chad's October wedding on a private California ranch. I adore San Diego... what a great city and amazing climate! We had some fun walking around San Diego's Gaslamp quarter a couple weeks ago and just striking a pose wherever I thought looked good.  I also got to visit with our January bride, Brooke (she and Chad are cousins) and her family. I shot this by myself AKA sans Jamelle. I lead this post with a jokey-jokey one of Chad b/c it was fun!   ~Cameron~

Monique + Rick {Sedona Elopement | Red Rock Crossing}
Monique and Rick came all the way from Oregon to elope in sunny Sedona on May 23.  May is a pretty good bet, in terms of weather... but this year was an unpredictable year and it was colder than they had hoped. This didn't stop Monique and Rick from laughing and having an amazing ceremony at Red Rock Crossing.  They incorporated some Native American traditions to their ceremony and it was truly awesome. At one point the sky opened up and Monique peaked back at the view and Jamelle captured an amazing smile on her face-- one of my favorite shots! My friend, John Burcham, saw me editing these shots and claimed they had a "million dollar sky" and he was right. The overcast weather allowed us to get some really fun images in Red Rock State Park with Cathedral rock in the background.  We loved the bouquet by Amy Mills at Bliss Extraordinary floral. Erin + Craig {L'Auberge de Sedona Wedding}
Erin and Craig had the perfect destination wedding at L'Auberge de Sedona on a Thursday! The ceremony was held at the newly remodeled hillside with an a fresco dinner at the Creekhouse patio. Erin and Craig are so comfortable around one another --they were an easy-going couple.  Erin was SO relaxed prior to the wedding she played cards with her best friend and really got to enjoy her day.  Lovely flower arrangements by Amy Mills of Bliss Floral.
